Distinguished Student Awards

CAGT announces its Distinguished Student Awards for the 2014-2015 School Year.  This awards program is designed to recognize distinguished acheivement in academics, leadership, or the arts, in children 7-18.  This year the awards program has been expanded.  Three children from the State of Colorado will be named CAGT Distinguished Students.  One student for the Junior Division, ages 7-9, one student for the Senior Division, ages 10-12 and our new this year, one student for the Masters Division, ages 13-18.

Leadership Awards

As the school year wraps up, consider who has made a difference in your local gifted community over the last year(s). Please nominate them for recognition at this fall’s CAGT conference. In collaboration with the Office of Gifted Education Colorado Department of Education, CAGT will present Leadership awards in the following categories: Parent of the Year, Educator of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Special Advocate of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award at the 38th Annual Conference. Affiliates or individuals may nominate people for one or more categories. A separate form must be used for each nomination.  DEADLINE: Friday, August 28, 2015
